Didn’t really care for the OEM Boards and how far they hung down. Picked up a pair of new F150 Raptor boards for a steal. Tucked up nice and tight on the body now and I really like the rough texture on them.......,,lots better grip on my shoes now, especially in bad weather.
This is what I would like to do too. I’m on a second set of chrome boards and their bubbling and pitting. I might just dirty and find all black, and use F150 brackets to raise up. Only downside to raptor boards is only two brackets per board versus 3 per board for the Sd versions. I know this will likely be a spring project because I won’t be able to stand looking at the bubbling boards for long. Right now under inches of much amd ice, at -25 C.
Looks good. I ordered my truck without boards so I could get some F150 takeoffs for it. Ended up getting the 5" sterling grey painted versions and sprayed them with a few coats of bedliner in a can. They have been holding up well and I like how they look being up tight to the cab.

The Tremor Super Duty's come with very similar running boards as the Raptor running boards in these photos. Perhaps the Tremor version has 3 mounting brackets on each side? Maybe a Tremor owner will chime in.
Ah dang, I must need a couple more posts. Am I right in thinking that the tremor steps look just like the raptor steps (they sit up high close to the rocker panels?) except they say FORD at the end?
