Just bought a1956 f100 with a 6 cylinder and 3 on the tree, can someone tell me what size engine this is? Also about what these trucks are worth? Thanks. Will post pictures soon.
Welcome . We definitely like pics . Value is a very tough thing to estimate . Condition , options , location and just plain " it's worth more to me because " all fall into the equation . One of my dads favorite sayings was " it's worth what someone will write you a check for " . We will await your pics . PS if you've already bought it do you really want our opinion on value ? lol
223 cu in , some project starters are way over valued to start with because they see a finished on and the price they bring simply because they have no idea what it takes to get them there..
Not to sound wise here, but I agree, its worth what you just paid for it. But that's what it's worth to you. To someone else it might be more, or less. Hagerty Insurance has a valuation tool you could use to give you a better idea.
To me if it runs, drives, with no failed over the top customization attempts, and had recent license plates its worth more than a vehicle you just pulled out of the barn with flat tires. Just too many variables to really dial it in.
As previously stated price and worth is super slippery. You didn’t say, does it start, run, drive, stop? The price goes up with each yes. If you post a couple of pictures it’ll help us give you a better guesstimate of value.
