Ignition key switch...

I need to replace my turn/wiper switch. How do I remove the key-switch???

I kinda remember seeing it done before and remember it being easy, but Im having a brainfart.......

On my van I pushed a drillbit upward into the hole on the bottom of the column and pulled the cylinder out. I don't remember if the key had to be on or not.

As Airbrush said, with the key in the on position. Slides right out.

I replayed that switch on my truck. Its called the multifunction switch. If i remember correctly all I had to do was rotate the upper portion out of the way.
