no start when hot
well guys I made a post about my P$D not starting when hot a few weeks back it would start fine when cold but would notstart when hot without the help of starting fluid we found the
o-rings on the inj. acuator control were history allowing the oil
when hot to bleed past and not allowing enough acuating pressure on cranking (needs 300psi was only getting 165psi)
the starting fluid allowed enough engine speed to get rail pressure up to what it needs only cost me 30 cents to fix it and about an hour and a half to do it just dont do what i did and forget to put a bucket under the bell housing and fill your
wifes parking space with oil when you pull the acuator ot

I'd be really careful using ANY kind of starter fluid on these rigs. The starting fluid bumps the compression ratio way up and you run the risk of doing serious damage to a PSD with starting fluid. I'd fix the root of the problem and stay away from the starting fluid.
