93 F150 5.8L Problems
Yesterday I started it up and after a pretty hard start it idled fine.
BUT, when going past partial throttle it would miss and pop like a backfire. I even tried mashing the throttle full open and it wouldn't get over about 2500 rpm while missing and backfiring. Today it won't start at all. Checked for fire, seems like good light orange/white fire from platinum plugs. Not sure how to check for fuel pressure without special tools, but the plugs are wet and smell like gas. What's next? There is no engine light, will codes show up on the hand held scanners? Thanks for any input.
