ABS light blinking.

ABS light blinking.
The ABS light started to blink and now my cruise control doesn't work. I unhooked the batterys ( to reset the computer) and checked the connection on the RABS snsor on the rear axle. Things were back to normal for a short time and then the light came back on.
Could there be something wrong with the sensor in the back axle or should I be looking somewhere else??
