I am needing to replace rear wheel studs on this F700 the Vin is 1FDXF82KEVA49978. If I could get the proper part numbers for the rear wheel studs and possibly the lug nuts, that would help, before I dig any further. Thanks! PS any other info on this unit would be helpful.
Just wondering now, I wonder if this rear end setup would have "slip off" drums, which would make access to the rear wheel studs much easier to deal with and not having to remove the rear hub assembly?
You only have 16 digits there. You need 17. Wheel stud or even axle info isn't going to come up via the VIN search. Once you get the number right, try this one:
Your brake drums may be fastened to the hubs with large countersunk screws. You will have to pull the hub to replace a stud. Usually you can pull the entire rear wheel, drum and hub assembly when doing brake work or replacing the seal. This is arguably easier than pulling the duals and trying to get that brake drum off.
I normally don't trust the VIN on these (wheel studs, backing plates, etc) and just remove the old studs, measure with dial caliper (or other precision measuring tool) and get replacements from any number of suppliers, including NAPA, Moser Engineering, MSC Industrial, etc.
