Is it safe to assume the front seats from a 2016 F-150 Platinum will drop right into a 2017 F-350 XLT? They sure look the same. Thanks
99-16 were the same I believe and 2017 on would be the same…. Just speculation on my part and a little bit of googling…. Hopefully someone else can give you a definite answer… would be a great upgrade if so.

The F150 seats will bolt up, check the wiring. There is a difference. The platinum uses memory along with heat and cool. There is multiple modules that control these seats and they are not in the XLT.
They might bolt-up the same, but those Platinum seats have a lot going on inside - I'd be surprised if the controls would all work, even if there is a wire loom connector that fits. They ARE very comfy seats, even if the massage feature isn't working.
Thanks for the info.......I can get a smoking deal on these, probably just a swap (mine for his), as far as getting everything working, that will come later, or I'll grab his modules and harness too.

I could be wrong, but I think that most of the functions are internal to the seat and they just need power. at least that's what I read for putting in a 10-way adjustable seat into an XLT for the passenger side. I'm not sure about the memory staff of the platinum.
