2016 Thud while making a hard turn
Hey guys, My wife brought to my attention that her car is making a loud thud when she's doing a hard turn. My ten yr old son can hear it as well. The thud can be felt in the searing column to. Wife is taking the F250 to work today so Im gonna do some maintenance on her car and take a closer look at it. Anyone have any experience with this sort of thing or areas that could cause this? I dont know a whole lot about this disposable cars. Its got about 44 k on it as well.

Jack up the front end... Take a pry bar or 2 x 4 and pry the front wheels from side to side and see where the slack is.... 44k is low miles so look more for something broken or loose rather than worn out.

Did you end up finding out the issue? My 2016 Explorer Sport does something like this but it only happens after I back up while turned, then crank the wheel the opposite direction moving forward. It sound like a thud and can feel it in the steering column.
