Egr check valve replacement

Egr check valve replacement
Is it possible to replace the egr check valve on a 94 f150 5.0l without removing the intake. If so what's the trick. I can get a wrench on it but with less than a inch of space i camt brake it free.

There is no check valve in the EGR system, are you referring to the check valve on the air injection crossover tube at the very back of the motor? If so you may have to remove the crossover tube first as there is not much room to work, the crossover tube connects to ports on the back of the heads.. just a single bolt on each side.
