Good afternoon FTE users
My tuck is a 2004 f350 xl extended cab, everything is manual (windows, locks, mirrors)
I hate that when i have to move to the other side to open the windows, giving the crank like 10-15 revs, just too boring and difficult so my idea is to remove the OEM manual regulator put there some brand new power ones, cut the original regulator pigtail and crimp a deutsch 2 pin connector, i have the caterpillar deutsch dt toolbox, for the switches there will be some carling contura v mom-on/off/mom-on dpdt ones, if i want to put genuine style i will need to buy a xlt gray door panel cuz the xl and xlt door panels are day and night different an it will be not cool that there will be power mirros and power lock switches being unused, i mean, they look awesome and heavy duty and they will fit fine, they will be in that front section of the armrest, measured that in those i will be able to perfectly fit 2 of those, in the driver side of course 2 and in the pass side of course 1, the wiring will be just to invert the positive/negatives to roll down or up, the power will be from the koeo position key but don't want to cut wiring and modify but thieves will just get in a chevy truck door lock rod and roll down windows and it will be a GIFT TRUCK, so i will just do the best i can with wiring and that's all
bought a kit on ebay, it had a "device" that connected to the spline under the window crank when removed, it was about $50 for power windows and locks for that kit, decided I would just buy the window regulators and motor combo and make it look not so hoky, the regulators and motor where about $45 each, in the end for about $150 I finally had power windows and locks, biggest thing that bothered me was the reality that I drove the truck for so many years without having them.
The ebay kit lasted a long time, probably still working. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Electric-Po...Cclp%3A2334524
I second the motion from Fatz. The chinee $50 kit from ebay gets the job done, been using that same kit for about 2 years. Key to making it perform well is mounting the "drive motor" portion of the drive unit firmly in position. Found common pop rivets work well for mounting drive motor end firmly to the door sheet metal.

You ask for a budget way to do it but dont want the closest to OEM you will get with a cost of $150.00?
Best of luck buddy, don't think the Unicorn you are looking for is out there.
You could get all the regulators, switches, door panels and wiring out of a pick a part junkyard for probably $100 and actually have OEM power windows without having to figure anything out. Might as well grab the locks while you're in there. You could even wire it all independently of the trucks harness if you wanted. Window regulators have a higher amp draw and should be wired through a relay.
