1969 f100.
Hey. I just picked up a 1969 F100 4x4 custom cab. The truck has dullies on it. The bed is not modified other than a slight rubber flare attached. The owner said that the truck came from the dealer with dullies on it. I’m new to the F100 world and this is my first old pickup I will be restoring. Is this a factory option? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

No, it didn't come from the factory with duelly wheels. Do you have 5 lug rear wheels or 8 lug wheels? Do you have a 9" rear end or a Dana 60/70 rear? They are an aftermarket addition or with the Dana axle, an add-on. I have never heard of 5 lug duelly kits being used.

I’m fairly sure it’s a Dana 60. The paper work states it’s a custom cab Heavy Duty special. I’m going to start tearing into the truck next week to see what they did to accomplish this. Thanks for the quick response.
