Unfortunately we are seeing an increase in our area for thefts of Ford trucks. My truck (CC 05 V10) lives outdoors and even though we are in a small, middle class culdesac I am paranoid.
I was thinking of installing a Killswitch. Wanting to install one but wanted to check here see if anyone has done this previously and which wire to tap into specifically. I don’t drive the truck but once a week or so, it is primarily used to tow travel trailer.
Being that I don’t drive it regularly I want to make sure whatever wire I tap into, if I forget to flip that kill switch on when I start it, I don’t break something.Ng7}JtaSBeing that I don’t drive it regularly I want to make sure whatever wire I tap into, if I forget to flip that kill switch on when I start it, I don’t break something.
I would think tapping into your fuel pump inertia switch wiring would be an easy route. If you left the kill switch near the inertia switch a thief in the driver's seat would never find it.
