BORA wheel spacers

Hi guys,

First post, I have been lurking for awhile and studying. I have a 2019 F350 Platinum SRW CCLB. Its all stock at the moment. Im going to do a 2.5" Carli Commuter package with torsion roll bar and would like to run 37x12.50 Ridge Grapplers on the factory 20" platinum wheels. I have read that a 1" BORA spacer will eliminate rubbing. Should I go steel or aluminum? They sell both versions for the truck. Just interested in others experiences. Thanks.

Hands down the best wheel spacer! it all depends on what you tow and how heavy. if you talk to them they both are rated for a hell of alot of weight. give me a shout if you need help ordering!

Awesome, glad to hear. I spoke with them today and they recommended the aluminum anodized adapter over the steel. Plenty of strength and obviously no rust. I am definitely going to order them. (2) standard adapters for the front axle and (2) heavy duty/tow package adapters for the rear axle because of the 14 bolt Dana.

I just installed 2" BORA spacers. My intent was to go with steel as well, but after speaking with the guys at Motorsports-tech, I went with the anodized aluminum. Much lighter weight and no concerns about rust. They claim that they have never heard of a failure of their aluminum spacers and an exhaustive search of the internet shows nothing but glowing reviews. I ordered the "Ford F250/F350 (2017-2020 W/TOW PKG) Aluminum Spacers, 8x170 bolt pattern, 124.9 hub" with a quantity of 4 and they fit perfectly. I didn't order two different products for the front and rear. Their drop down selections are a little wonky. There is a section for comments when you place the order so I described exactly how my truck was equipped (Dana Super 60 front / Dana M275 rear) and stated that I was using the stock wheels (hub centric). They fit perfectly.

I went with 2" both for the aesthetic and because they don't require that the existing studs be cut. If I ever choose to go back to the original set-up or with aftermarket wheel, I just take off the BORAs and bolt up the wheels. Also, if there was ever a problem with a spacer while on the road, I could simply remove it and reinstall the wheel/tire and be on my way. If the existing studs were cut down to 1", I'd be stuck. The look is exactly what I was going for.

My tire size is 295/65R20 but I would have gone with the same set-up with 37s.

How much are you towing? I'd think twice about spacers if you're towing heavy. Bora are the best however.

Tow away with the Bora spacers. I've never had an issue. If I was always towing over 20k I might reconsider, but I stay in the 10-20k range.

LOTS of spacers found over on the Jeep side in the off road world and I advise folks there is one place you do NOT want to save a nickel. I have seen spacers literally explode on a rock trail and this with an engine putting out 252 lbs of torque. But you that 252 x 4 low transfer case x 4 low first gear Trans x 5:36 axle gears and it adds up to a helluva lot of torque at the ground. Not a Superduty that starts with BIG Torque , multiply that out.

For that reason and when I had my shop and put them on my rig and others...BORA! If you plan on any high stress applications like off road use etc then its STEEL BORA!!!!

If anyone is looking to buy a used set of bora 2” spacers let me know. Used them for 6 months for my stock wheels while I was waiting for custom wheels

Second truck with BORA. I do have issues with this set being aligned correctly with the bolt pattern. I have also had two studs with gualed threads when rotating tires. Still love the look they give.

do you have any pics from the front or rear that shows how far they stick out? Preferably on the 37s. Also, how thick are the spacers you’re running?
