Exchanging Parts
Hi There. A friend has a 1988 F 250 4x4 super duty extend cab with a 4 speed 5.8 gas motor. I would like to know can I exchange the four wheel front end and 4 speed manual transmission to my 1992 F 250 2 wheel drive extended cab 7.3 diesel? Thanks

not easily.
the 88 has leaf springs, the 92 has coil springs.
the frames are different, so you would have to fabricate spring perches, and i think a different front crossmember
