F250 reverse issue.

2014 f250 fronts don’t have power in 4wd while reversing all tires have power going forward.

Strange symptom.
How did you verify the front was not engaging in reverse?
Lock the hubs in manually and try it.
Does it do it in 4 low too?
Also, disengage all traction control garbage, if you have that button on a 14? Thankfully my 11 has that disengage big brother button.

Tip: I leave my hubs locked-in most of the time in winter. Good for the U-joints. Do it once a month in summer for 10-20 miles.

Side note... if in fact, the front is not engaging at all...forward/reverse/4H/4L...
Vacuum leaks: You could have a leaking ESOF system on one or both sides.
A leak at the hub, or a bad vacuum line to the hub(s) etc. Usually, the HVAC system will act up as they operate off the same system at least it does in an 11.
By that I mean when you select vent, floor, defrost etc...do all of those positions work ok?

HVAC works fine all positions, no traction assist was engaged. I was in my garden had to back over railroad tie couldn’t do it in 2wd shifted to 4hi and only back wells would spin. I drove forward a bit to make sure it was engaged. .
