OK, I know several people have done the swap, so here is my question:
My truck is a 1979 F-150 4x4 with a manual transmission. I got the 300 six out, and have my 351W all ready to drop in.
The only problem I can see me running into is running the duel exhaust from the shorty headers. I don't know if I'll be able to squeeze the left side back through the driver's side, past the clutch linkage and around the transfer case, or would it be better to go under the oil pan and run the exhaust side by side down the passenger side and out the rear?
What have others done with the same set up? Any suggestions?
MODERATOR,
SORRY, I posted in the wrong forum. I mean't to post in the 1973 to 1979 Ford forum, can you move it???
