As you can see I encountered a problem with my AC Temp Controller mechanism (middle **** controlling the temperature)
The cable mount above the glove box broke off, causing a bind. Which caused me in my stupidity to get tough with the control ****. Duh, right?🤪
I was having difficulty finding the right replacement at a wrecking yard, and didn't wanna wait for an Ebay delivery so I was able to "weld" that little tab back together with a torch version of a candle lighter.
I also fixed the cable mount found above the inside of the glove box area with a zip tie and hot glue😁!
She's all back together working perfectly. I just hope it lasts. Hope this helps someone!
Wonder if thats what wrong with my 94.... The **** spins around and a round. It gets kind of tight but then just kind of pops around further.
if you take the glove box out, you can see where the cable attaches. That mount breaks off, then the cable binds up and the flange breaks off the back of the ****. The cabke mount above the glove box can be fixed if you get creative with zip ties and hot glue, but the control **** is trickier.
