Haven't had much time in the truck yet but on last test drive I noticed the tach acting up. While at cruising, it dropped down to zero for a bit then back to 1,500 ish. First research points towards changing out the Cam Position Sensor. Seem reasonable? PO has new one in the glovebox...
Any other thoughts?
My tach doesn't work at all. I replaced the cam sensor, checked all the wiring up to the computer both ways and still haven't found the problem. The sensor is a motor craft sensor also.
