Drivers side What should I do . You think it will correct or should I turn it back. Takes all of 30 mins to do. Im pro now. I'd rather it be clocked cause of the shrimp then to look like it's bowed both ways
The shrimp? Lol. You're trippin on it being bowed toward the rear now as opposed to the front? If thats the case I would leave it for now, go flex it somewhere, maybe pull the sway bar from an end link to get some additional flex. Or just drive it and give it some time. I have to say I am a little surprised it held that bow.
How are you getting the truck high enough in the air to get the coil loose so easy?

I use a 4x4 and jackit up right in front of swaybar drop bracket.. Take of brake bracket and undo sway bar..
I get it high enough that I can just twist it all.
Ps.. Your suprised it held the bow from the other direction? I didn't know what to think... Lol
😄 . I guess I just expected the spring to go back to its neutral state, then bow forward again under weight. I would still try getting it flexed out, see if it changes anything.

Guess I'll rock it then... I'm not worried about it falling apart... Rides great and no different in height since the twist around so... Will see what happens... Gonna need to resprsy them black in the sprint from on the yanking on them.. Lol
Thanks again man!!! Apericate cate all your feed back
did you ever get this figured out?
i was just looking at rotating my driver's side perch yesterday. my coil bows out and forward. the passenger side is more inline.
in the pic you posted of the perch, why is it twisted?
I was wonder if this is wrong or write..
Every thing lines up on the bottom spring perch on both sides and the perches are where they need to be. This is passenger side.. I think looks fine.. It's how I feel it should be..
The drivers side... The one I'm concerned about. Could I maybe twist it, if I do it won't be in the perch stop/ range on the bottom.
Any info would be great...
bowing with the arch forward iscuased by lift blocks for leveling or lift.
pinion arm drop kit will improve it. The pinion arm drop kits are sold in different inches of drop to match your level or lift.
the pinion arm drop kits will also increase caster . Which could be good or bad. Good if you want your truck to track better bad if you think non stock caster is bad.
I got a total different spring. Took care of the bow. I know it doesn't look like it. But I'll take another Pic. This one is a skyjacker 8.5 to get rid of the under coil spacer.
thats a odd shock mounting setup. never seen that before. dont they make a proper longer shock ?
I agree man.
These are BDS's version of 8 inch lift shocks. Straight from there site.. Backs are normal. I'm working on getting a dual resevior set for the front.
