Hi yourself and welcome to FTE. It's easy to navigate around the forums. If you click on the FORUM box in the upper left, you'll see a list of all the general categories. Your excursion and the general discussion of it, for example, can be found under the, "Super Duty/Heavy Duty section. If you have questions about your engine, you might want to check out the, "Diesel", or "Performance, Engines and troubleshooting", sections. Don't be intimidated. Browse the site at your leisure.
Also, near the bottom of the list of forums is one labeled "Regional Chapters". In it, you'll find your state chapter. Check it out, join them and enjoy yourself.

Welcome...... I don't own an Excursion..... I do frequent their group when they are discussing mechanical issues.... IMHO, they are the most "Passionate" group of owners I communicate with... Their Excursion is not a vehicle, it is a member of the family.
