93 F 150 Will Not Start!
I've have my truck for over 3 years, and it's been extremely dependable. Until now. Check engine light came on a couple days ago, codes 173 and 628. 173 has something to do with being too rich on one bank, and 628 is clutch slippage in the E4OD. Took it to my friends shop, and they worked on it all day without much success. Seemed to be fine until it went into a closed loop when it was warmed up, then O2 sensor showed constant rich mixture, timing went far advanced, etc. All components checked out OK though. They thought they found it in the common ground to all these sensors, I drove it for awhile and everything seemed fine. Then "check engine" again. This morning I disconnected the battery to reset computer, hoping this might help. When I started it, it ran BAD. Missed a lot, but I thought I'd try to drive it awhile and let it relearn. Never made it to the end of the block. Now it refuses to start. Turns over fine, almost acted like it wanted to start once, but since then, NOTHING. HELP, Please! I have a hard time believing something quit on me just like that.
