I am new to the group. Bought a 1978 F100 frankentruck dec 22. I had a 79 as my first truck and have wanted one back ever since I sold mine. The one I have now is a F100 lariat custom with factory CB. Needs a little love but overall is in pretty great shape. I look forward to getting to know you all and learning from you.
Welcome! Short Box 4x4 Dentside's are getting very hard to come by. My favorite as well.. Congrats. What engine/trans? Just a precaution, check your steering box at the mounts on the frame while someone turns the steering wheel and make sure it's not loose! If it is, your frame is probably cracked. Mine was when I purchased and I drove it home 85 miles this way. Not incredibly common but it happens.
