Hello from Northern CA
I've finally gotten motivated and am rebuilding/renovating my 1989.5 F350 4WD Crew cab 7.3L turbo dually. It was my dad's truck, and has been pretty much sitting since 2005, with 88,000 miles on it. I want to do a full "cosmetic upgrade" to it: paint, full interior, and anything else that comes to mind. It has the Banks turbo upgrade, Gear Vendors 2 speed splitter, Warn winch (that fits into the hitch receivers- front and rear), Dana axles with limited slip, manual front hubs, dual tanks, dual shocks, and a lot of other features too numerous for an "intro". My dad worked on it for 2 years before he drove it "on the road".
My "starting list" is to install a "modern" interior" {something with individual front seats from a late model Ford crew cab}, sound proof the cabin, install a decent entertainment and navigation system, and have it painted. The primary planned use is as a 5th wheel tow vehicle.
My other automotive projects:
1973 DeTomaso Pantera L 5.4L SOHC intercooled injected supercharged
1914 Model T
2020 Explorer
Looking forward to suggestions, helpful comments, and encouragement!!
Chris

I'm figuring around $12K or so to do this,.,, if I'm lucky! But it's only money! One of my challenges is finding an interior that will work. I want the "newest" possible, but not a computer controlled seating system... Or I may go with Recaro front seats and something else for the rears. Just depends...
