Here to share with you a very dumb thing I did involving my 85 f150.
So I replaced the combination manifold on my 85 f150, and I've been driving it around recently. The engine was super loud and I just figured that was normal for an old truck. Turns out, I forgot to reattach the EGR tube to the carburetor spacer... Therefore I had massive exhaust leak without realizing it.
I was getting headaches, so that explains it. Don't be like me, CO is nothing to mess with.
I removed my 1981 F-150 I6 300 manifolds also, I'm going to put it back in the next 2 or 3 days, I been reading about it here in this wonderful forum, is there any tips or suggestions you want to share? (besides make sure connect the EGR tube)

Check if the head is warped. Replacing the manifolds didn't completely stop the leak for me
