Tailgate height
When the tailgate is open, is anyone else’s ~1/4” higher than the bed surface? Irritates me trying to slide things out. They always catch the tailgate.

FWIW, I have a 2019 250 CCSB FX4 KR 6.7 that has Line-X but tailgate is same height/level with bed. I slide tool boxes and feed bags out very regularly. That’s really odd if the newer gates aren’t quite level. I wonder if there is an adjustment that can be made so you’re not forced into a bed mat if you didn’t want one.

I took a closer look at my tailgate yesterday. It is slightly higher than the bed. Hasn’t been a issue for me as I do have to lift things like coolers a bit to jump that gap between the bed and tailgate gate anyway .I might not have even noticed it if I hadn’t read this thread. I have own all three brands of trucks over 35 or so years of owning pickups. My 2020 Ford still has the same issue that my 78 Chevy had with stones, dirt and other things falling in the gap between the bed and tailgate. The tailgate being a little higher or lower than bed isn’t an issue for me.
