Good afternnon FTE users,
i have been scanning my ford with the noregon DLA+ scanner and using its scanning app JPRO 2017 3
there shows me a error when i attempt to delete those
the communication is very bad, at start it reads, then kinda freezes, and then, lost connection, the errors are all EGR wich i never cared about, its deleted, the errores that are real are the KAM and something aboutnot done connection, let me check it out
Please reply
Just tested it with a procedure that i've found in internet, how it said, my problem is the powertrain control module wich is not good wiring is good, i have checked grounds and voltages that the test procedure said if at the first test there wasother result, but mine ended being PCM, the KAM is in the PCM so all this history starts to thread and i seen in the faults that there was one check NOT DONE so the PCM is bad
I am not sure I understand what you are meaning to say. Some obdII scanners are not worth the money spent on them. If you have access to another scanner, you should use that to connect and try it out.
I use a paid Torque Pro phone app in combination with a bluetooth dongle/scanner as recommended by dieseltechron (on youtube). It seems to work well. Though Bluetooth can be finicky in maintaining connection. A usb connector and Forscan seems to be a favorite PC based method of scanning. It is a preferred method of maintaining good connections as mentioned by fordtechmakuloco (on youtube).
