1997 f350 o2 sensor
I recently had a new exhaust system put on my 1997 f350 (460 5 speed) and I'm now running true duals with glasspacks. I think the muffler shop may have just completely removed my o2 sensor and I'm now getting a check engine light. Is there any way around the check engine light other than completely re drilling and welding in a new sensor? I've heard of the o2 sensor simulators but from what I've seen they seem to be spotty and not always work. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated!
P.S I'm not 100% sure the check engine light is being cause by the lack of sensor so I'm getting a code read tomorrow at a parts store. I'll post any codes that pop up.

You’re not sure? It is easy enough to look under the truck to see if there is a sensor or not. If not, then you need to go back to the shop to have them cut a hole and weld in the O2 sensor bung. It should be free since it was their job to do that in the first place.
