Have a 2015 f150 that I want to add 18mm wheel spacers to. Want to know if I should install longer wheel studs and if so which ones, or if I should be fine with the stock ones.
If you ask questions on a forum, you will get opinions. My opinion is that a slip on spacer is bad. But, if you must, no more than ,25”.
The thickness you want will leave too few threads exposed to properly torque the lug nuts. Bolt on spacers are okay if they are hub centric, and torqued properly with thread lock, then checked regularly.
If you want to buy the Custom Offsets spacers, ask them about ordering longer studs.
Pretty uppity for a newbie. And by the way..... I agree with the no spacers. Lazy man's way of pushing wheels outward for Gawd knows what reason. Tires protruding past the fenders looks stupid IMO and throws crap all over the sides of the truck.
