Hope y'all had a great Christmas. I did a mod the other weekend that allows the front seats in my Excursion to fully recline.
The steps are:
-remove side panel from seat (3 screws)
-locate middle rivet and drill it out completely-reassemble and trim the panel where needed if there's excess rubbing
It's a quick 20 minute job and the seat is still fully adjustable.
Very cool! Quick question, does the front seat stop and get supported on the middle row seat base or is there a manual stop on the front seat hinge? I ask because I've removed my middle row seat on the driver side.
Yes there’s another stop, at least my 2003 stops about an inch before it hits the back seat
