wiring harness

does anybody know if the pcm wiring harness from a 1989 V8 engine work with 1989 with a 4.9L 6 cylinder Both are 1989 models

Are you doing an engine swap?
Your question seems to ask if a V8 engine harness will fit a 4.9 engine, the answer to that is no.

No looking for the pcm harness for a Ford F-150 with a 4.9L engine. Found one from a 89 with a V8engine

Ok, so you mean the chassis side of the engine harness from the PCM to the round connectors on the inner fender? In that case the answer would be yes.

Harness

Sorry about not getting back sooner out of town. So the V-8 harness will work on 300 6 cylinder? I need to connect to the round plug on the firewall and come out from there will the V-8 harness still work on the 6 cylinder.

So you are replacing the whole engine bay wiring harness? If so that is fine and should work, but you need an I6 engine harness to mate with all the devices on the motor.
