I am curious to know if anyone can tell me how many consecutive remotes starts they can make on there 2017-2019? My 2017 with aftermarket I could start it as many times as I wanted, but my 2020 has the factory remote start which the 17 didn’t. But I can only start it twice (or maximum of 30 minutes) then it has to be started by key. So the reason I am asking is if this is a change in the BCM, it might be an adjustment that can be made in Forscan.

I start mine sometimes more often than that. Especially when I had it set to shut off at 10 minutes. 3-4 times in less than 30 once or twice. Mostly twice almost every morn.

In my '14 I could only start it 2x in a row and then it had to be done by the key.
I don't have any idea what my '21 will let me do. I have it set to remote start every morning with the app. The first day it idled for 10 minutes and then shut off. I remote started it using the keyfob and then took off within the next 5 minutes. Yesterday it idled for 15 minutes and shut off (which is what I have the remote start duration set to in the dash) and shut off. I tried to remote start it with the key fob and it just honked at me, no dice. This morning it idled for 19 minutes continuously before I left for work. No clue how it is supposed to work.
Idk what’s wrong with y’alls trucks, or mine I guess, but I literally just started mine 5 times in a row. Start stop start stop. All within 20-25 seconds. Started every time.

Wouldn’t think that, there are mornings where I start it and end up being home a little longer and end up starting it after each time out 2-3 times after the first one. I have my timer set to 15 minutes. So that’s 45-60 min back to back run time.
I have a question along these lines too. When you use the remote start do the glow plugs go hot? I ask because there is no delay whatsoever when I command the key fob she just instantly fires up regardless of temp.

"20" gas remote set to max (15 min.) start as many times consec. as I want.
Just curious why you need it to idle more than 30 minutes? I don't have it so I'm just trying to understand.
Sometimes you don't get out of the house when you planned initially, so that's when I hit it again as it will cool off fast. My buddy who is joined @ my hip gets cold easy, the extra hit is mostly for her.
