Brake lights

Need some help.. my 06 f350 6.0 for some reason after driving for a while my brake lights go dim? Not sure what it could be. Also, I noticed my brake lights haven’t been shutting off after I shut it off. Anyone?

Trailer brake unit is Faulty.
unplug it and see what happens.

Mine is a 2004.5 aftermarket unit so it might be a little different.. That was my problem. New unit solved it. I did just disconnected to diagnose.

Wow!!!! I was wrong hahah I took the trailer plug in the back off. Now I figured it out after your last msg. It was the one under the dash, Mine is built in. Thank you so much man! I really appreciate it! This site is sick! Thanks again!
