Diagnostic Codes
I have a 1989 F-150 4x4 with a 5.0 and manual tranny. I replaced the distributor (gear was broke) and repaired a manifold leak (the truck was surging at idle and while driving it). Runs good now but the power doesn't seem to be there. I scanned the truck and it came up with Code 44 and Code 35. I know what the codes are (Code 44/TAB/TAD sensor, Code 35 EGR)but don't know what I should do to fix /test the darn things. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Since you replaced the distributor, are you sure you have the timing set right?? If you think everything is set right, you might try unhooking the battery for 5 minutes to let the computer reset.
