Meguiar's All Purpose Cleaner diluted 8:1 and a medium-stiffness scrub brush, then wipe off the residue with a good towel. I use it on the leather seats, dash pad, steering wheel, etc. Basically anything that isn't fabric, or the gauge cluster and nav screen. All leather seats, even the contact areas that are actually leather, are covered with a plasticized material so don't assume you need a leather conditioner...you don't. They still make that slimy stuff because people still buy it.
I use the fermantor (sp), bought the knockoff from amazon for $20, cleans like there is no tomorrow, I can't stand a dirty car, cool thing is there is no need for any expensive cleaners, it uses a drop of blue dawn, this will clean the entire interior twice and makes it better than new.
This is what i use as a general wipe down all the interior. On the seats i use a non paste cleaner/conditioner as a cream/paste will clog up the perforated leather.

With the vinyl floors on my KR, my favorite detailing tool is an air compressor. Open the doors and blow all of the kids' food crumbs out onto the street. I haven't needed a vacuum in the 18 month of ownership yet.

weird, I seen this thread and just wanted to say that the air compressor is a detailers most used & favorite tool.
spill more coffee. I hate F'ing cloth seats with a passion. i gave up on the interior detailing until i do katskinz leather seats.
For $200 I got these and they look FAB ! I showed someone my truck, they have a F150, and they thought they were factory. The rear seat you can tell they are not if you really look but 1st glance and it looks FAB !
Only thing I don't like is the little squeek I get when I am driving on the front seat rubbing on the console, but I have gotten used to it. Don't notice with Radio on.
I just drop mine off at Immaculate detail, the wash the truck clean the interior and 1 coat of ceramic on all interior and exterior surfaces. $250.00 to get it done.
