Here is my new to me 2006 Ranger. I got it from a friend of mine for 200 bucks. He bought a bigger truck a couple years ago and was just using this to plow his driveway. He bought it in 2009 when he lived in CT and drove it until 2018. He wanted to give it to me but I dont take anything for free so we settled on 200. lol I had to tow it home because when he put a new battery in it, it wouldnt start and that was the last straw for him. I put a new fuel pump and battery in it and it fired right up. The rear brakes are dragging pretty bad and I think the parking brake cables are rusted up so I'll get to that next week. My son helped me pull the bed off so I could get to the fuel pump. I descaled the frame and painted it with a rust converter today. I also ordered new shocks, shackles for a 2 inch lift, a class 3 hitch and some new running boards. You sure can tell it spent time back east with the rust. No cancer but plenty of scaling. So far I'm only in to this thing for about 700 dollars but I'll have to do all the brakes next weekend so that'll be around another 300 or so. Still not bad.
Thats just the pre-coat for whats to come. We got about 3 inches today and it's going to dump every day for the next 6 days. lol Better get my new tires on!
