My reference for color codes doesnt show a “2” at all for ‘72. “M” is wimbledon white.
I have heard of re-paints where there is virtually no trace of original paint.
’71 shows the “2” code as Prairie Yellow, ‘69 & ‘70 as ‘New Lime’.
That red looks like it could be Candyapple Red which is code “T”
It seems to me that when there’s a discrepancy in the body tag it’s always in the color code.
This page shows your paint code numbers translating as 2=royal maroon and M=wimbledon white. Where did you find that your paint code was green and white at?
when having the chassis blasted and painted, doesn’t the blast media get into everything?
I envision taking everything apart and cleaning all the particles out it.
The grease points, doesn’t the media get blown into the slips joint, U joints, etc?
