Thats a good question..I don't have much experience with disc brakes either..
I hope someone gives you a good and thorough listing of "how to"...
I don't know enough to be critical of this video, but they do say its replacing the front disc brakes on a 1992 Ford Ranger..they may not
know it like a pro..but could give you some..info..goodluck

rebuilt calipers are about $20 from oriellys and if replacing one do both it doesnt cost that much. Look at you tube for how too's. Are you going to replace the pads at same time? How are the rotors, scared or grooved?
