I don't remember exactly what I used now and sent what may be incorrect info in the PM I just sent. In the following post, you can see that I used the standard Cummins SS braided lines and adapted it to the mechanical gauge (in the pictures):

https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...l#post18878990.

You can see it better here and the post is more specific:

https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...l#post18864340

Hope this helps!

Debating on using the OEM Cummins lock washer on the p-pump vs. the special Nord-lock one from DAP Diesel.

Seth supplied an OEM lock washer and said 175ft lbs. I already had both a new Cummins OEM washer as well as the Nord-lock washer from DAP.

Sure looks like the Nord-lock is the best option to avoid that pump slipping. DAP says to apply 146 ft lbs with the Nord-lock (similar to OEM torque specs).

Long shot, but @EXSwap or @Antonm do you guys know anyone that might have one of these laying around?

Looking for Mopar number 4883979 (#27 in the pic) which is also known as Cummins part number 3931556.

I don't....and that may be a tough one to find. I did find this, which may get you there:

https://sleequipment.com/cummins-gen...et-sensor.html

I've not ordered from them and haven't even heard of them. Another source might be Crazy Carl. He may at least know where to get one. I will say I messaged him on FB a few weeks ago and he hasn't responded.

Thank you sir. Called them and unfortunately they did not have any availability. I've been looking a while...unfortunately. Just indexed the rebuilt linkage, and that's the last part of that equation.

Regarding the p-pump lock washer: Used the new Nord-lock lock washer. Dang that is one powerful lock washer... that's all I'm going to say about it LOL

That piece may not be necessary. Unless you need to run a dodge style TPS, you should be able to just leave that part off.

Are you planning on using the dodge style TPS?

I was planning on it. I do need a TPS since I'm keeping a built 4R100 and not going to a manual trans. Is there a better option? The linkage is completely clean and rebuilt so the TPS won't be sloppy.

Thanks Antonm!

I don't know if there is a better option or not. The only auto trans conversion I've done was with a 5r110 trans and its TPS was built into the throttle pedal itself (no throttle cable on a 6.4L PSD truck, all fly by wire), so I didn't need to use the Dodge TPS. I'm assuming the excursions that used the 4r100 had a tradition throttle cable and TPS then?

Would this part suffice? Not the same part number (maybe an update revision or something), but it seems like it would hold the TPS.

That's for a different style linkage assembly. Unfortunately I found that out by ordering that part before...it's needing part 3931556 which is rare as hens teeth.

Looks like that parts has been discontinued. Scroll all the way to the bottom of the description in the link below. Says "TPS Bracket (not shown) - 3931556 Discontinued). Looks like used is gonna be your only option. Maybe give some pump rebuilders (like Seth Farrell) or bosch shops a call to see if they have one off a core/ trashed pump they'd be willing to sell.

I'd asked Seth after he sent my pump back, and unfortunately he says they only deal with the Bosch side Cummins parts.

Thanks for looking though Antonm
