All tucked in for a long winter's nap

I put my 55 F350 into storage this morning. It's a new storage place for me. A former student bought an old feed mill for his monument and grave marker business. He has a lot of room. And he is charging me only $100 for Dec thru March. And he's giving me a key in case I want to get it out before March.

Here he is all tucked in for a long Winter's nap. I put dryer sheets in the cab and mothballs around the outside.

Throw some feed bags on the back and stage some pictures. By the way, I left my phone up at the cabin.

I hope the time passes quick for you and can enjoy the truck again soon.

But in Florida on the other hand....winter means cooler weather and I don't sweat my butt off driving the truck.

I need to store the F-2 for the winter. It's usual winter resting spot was in the upper floor of the barn but this year it's going into the attached garage. The space opened up because the youngest son's girlfriend decided to move on to greener pastures.

Glad I'm in Texas! S-N-O-W spells "move south" to me...
If the rain lets up this weekend I'll probably take the 53 sedan for a drive.

Hey Morris. Your cartoon motivated me to do some checking into Saskatoon. I knew I had heard of the name, but that's about all. I was thinking it must be a little cross roads trading village with wild bison occasionally spotted on Main Street and all the men in town dressed in plaid woolen shirts and open carrying knives and bottles of Molson Canadian Beer. I pictured you with a canoe and a chain saw and a couple of old snow machines to go with your Fords. Boy was I wrong. Saskatoon has almost 300,000 people, and its nick name is "Paris of the Prairies". That must make you a sophisticated urban intellectual and me pretty ignorant about Canada.

It is nice that you looked into Saskatoon info Jim.
I am not a a sophisticated urban intellectual as I live just outside of Saskatoon on a small farm. While I don`t have a canoe or a sled I have a chainsaw.
