boltdepot.com has a lot of fastener info --very useful for those of us who seldom actually get into it.
Link is to a downloadable pdf that lets you print accurate size guides for most common sae and metric stuff. They have a lot more useful info on their site.
I've used Bolt Depot myself for things I could have conveniently delivered instead of hunting all over town----they're not too bad price wise, have a decent selction too.
I use them for generic hardware but almost never for any OEM-type fasteners.
