We had them come by a quote us a price of $7000. for our front window on the house. I ended up doing it myself with an Andersen window from the lumber yard for $2200. I thought Renewal by Andersen was too proud of their windows.

Yeah they have a deal going now.. Buy 1 get 40% off the second
I need 18 windows and they started at $47K
With the deal and incentives we were at $32K
I figure I could buy the best Anderson window at Home Depot for around $500 Each
That means I can do it all for $9K.. Could even be less if we catch a sale

We replaced all of our windows my self after we moved in. except for that one window, the only thermal pane. It went bad and had to replace it.

We could benefit from thermal windows, but not at $32K

That's all fine and dandy till you get to the second floor windows.

Andersen's have nailing fins on the outside. I suppose that you don't have to use them.
