Windshield polishing ??
#1 - which English word changes meaning and pronunciation COMPLETELY depending on whether the first letter is capitalized or not ??
So much for today's quiz.
#2 - I looked in the archive.
A) There is no consensus on the proper forum to post this to.
B) This question has not been asked as far as I can tell.
SO . . . here it is:
Is there such a thing as windshield polishing? I mean the whole surface area.
Who does it?
This afternoon, driving directly into the setting sun I realized that my windshield has become . . sand blasted. Seriously, I live in Florida and I travel in and around a LOT of sand.
It is not like a scratch or scratches. I realize some fine rubbing compound and an insane amount of physical labor will remove most of them. But this is ridiculous. There are gazillions of
tiny pock marks covering the majority of the windshield surface that is visible.
(On Edit)
Yes, I cleaned my sunglasses and that didn't help much.
TIA.

This problem that you are confronted with also happened in Iraq with the rotor blades on our choppers. They were also being sand blasted and got chewed up all to hell.
I think this problem is still being pondered over and until then, when our military forces come up with a resolution, then maybe we will find an answer to your delema.
Maybe I have it!
Teflon is the answer to both problems!
Teflon Polish...Hmmm! Who does this...Hmmm!
Be persuant...find you answer!
and...Oh! Yeh! You must have gone to Literary College!

I almost bought this stuff because I had a lot of hard water stains on my windshield. I did not buy it because I got a crack in it from a rock. so I just replaced it. lol...
