ok, I have a 1990 Ford F250 4x4 with a 351. Under hard acceleration (floored) it seems to be missing a bit, as in "not smooth acceleration". The rig idles ok, occasionally the rpm's will dip down for a second but typically in traffic it runs fine. The only issue I have is that it misses under heavy acceleration. Any suggestions?

When was the last time you checked / replaced any of the secondary ignition parts like spark plugs , wires , dist cap rotor Etc ?
