No replies yet, so will see if I can get things started. Sounds like you may have more than one problem. Did either, or both of these problems come about suddenly after some event??? Have you checked fuses & wiring for the running & brake light problems???

On the ABS question, are you having any other problems, like the speed-o being erratic, or not working, if equipped, auto tranny shifting problems, or cruise control not taking a set, or randomly dropping out???
Have you checked or performed a wiggle test of the brake master cylinder electrical connector wiring, pins & sockets for looseness, bent pins, spread sockets, loose wire crimp, broken wire strands, corrosion on same???
