So I have double doors and I’ve been putting tape on them to keep them from rattling I accidentally put to much tape on pass rear and now it’s stuck closed when I hit the latch it releases at the top but not the bottom has anyone else ran into this issue? 😅

Are the "double doors" full size doors like a 4 door sedan car as in a super crew cab or SCREW ... OR ... are the rear doors opened by a handle inside the truck as in a super cab or SCAB?
I suspect your's is a SCAB. based on release statement as the SCREW has just the one latch like a car door.
Push in on the door as you squeeze the door handle to take pressure off the latch.
I know the rattle, but I used later model F-150 door latch strikers 9L3Z1522008A and new bumpers W705903-S300 with my 2007 super cab ... a SCAB ... and that snugged them up a little, Rattles are mostly gone unless a door isn't all the way shut. When we shut the smaller rear doors, we don't slam them but we do press firmly about 2/3 the way up from the bottom.
I’ve tried pushing against the door and I’ve even had two buddies push while I try unlatching I really got it stuck 😅😅 I’m going to order those parts as soon as I get it opening again so far my plan has been to drive and hope it wears the tape down enough to open
also the top will open but the bottom is what’s stuck and I’m afraid to tweak the door any other suggestions
