Spark wires

I know someone who has a 91 f 150 with a 5.8 he says the wires are ran underneath something he has to take off to change the wires he's wondering if he's wrong please help

He can cut the wires and install the new ones the proper way. I don't know how the 5.8 wires are routed but I doubt you need to remove anything on a proper install. ?? Sandy

Maybe he meant the upper plenum or throttle body? Things get a little congested in there.
