Brake, abs and traction control warning light came on. Also trailer assist brake not working. Any idea before I take it to the shop?

Had a Ford mini-van do the brake-ABS-Traction Control thing. Turned out it was low brake fluid. But it could have been more expensive, like a wheel speed sensor will set the same warnings. Have you had anyone working on brakes or changing tires? Running through heavy brush a stick or limb could get a lucky shot at the backside of the wheel speed sensor.

When I swapped my load levelling/sway control from the F150 to the F250 I had the same thing. It also disabled the cruise control. I backed spring tension way off and currently only have enough to keep enough friction for the sway control. Haven't had the issue since.

My issue solved.....
Real late but i was dealling with this issue for a year. No abs, cruise control, rear sensors when backing up amongst other issues. I had a code for bad drivers abs sensor. Changed it and immediately cleared up my issues. After reading lot about this issue on various boards was glad to know its a ford thing.......and usually an abs sensor.....
