Alternator change
Well I have a 59 short bed. But all the wiring and motor, trans all came out of a 75 merc. The alternator went bad the other day and I had one laying around so I put it on . It was smaller than the one that came off, and I had to change some wires. It is charging, but when I turn on the lights they go up and down from bright to dim. Do I need to change back to the bigger alt. or is it my regulator??????
