I know that you said that you were looking to build it back stock but you may want to consider an under-bed fuel tank. On my 56, when it had the stock tank installed, I felt like it took up a lot of seat room inside the cab and the sloshing of the gas was annoying to listen to while driving. Some folks are also a bit concerned about having that much flammable liquid inside the cab with them. A tank in the rear also adds weight where it is most needed.
